FAQs

What is the Metabolism test?

The test covers insights into genetic predispositions that may influence appetite, diet and exercise response, muscle, and fat storage. It is a wellness product, not a medical test.

What does the Metabolism report cover?

Five connected areas: macronutrient response, exercise versus calorie reduction, muscle preservation and training mix, hunger and natural GLP-1 and GIP signaling, and fat distribution and weight maintenance.

I did not collect my sample correctly. What do I do?

Just call our support line at (844) 977-2810 and our team will walk you through next steps. Depending on what happened, they can send you a replacement kit or just the individual parts you need.

How long does it take to get results?

Within 4 to 6 weeks from when the lab receives your sample.  Remember to register your kit before returning your sample to ensure the quickest results.

How do I access my results?

Results are available in the Genetics Profile tab of MyHealth, our new patient portal.  You will receive an email as soon as your results are ready, as well as instructions to access them.  From that portal, you are also able to download your report.

Will the Metabolism report tell me whether to take a GLP-1 medication?

No. The report looks at how strongly your body responds to its own GLP-1, the natural signal your gut produces after you eat. It describes a genetic tendency, not a treatment recommendation. Any decision about medication is between you and a licensed clinician. If you’d like to discuss it, your Wellness Advisor can connect you with one or call 1-800-LIVE10X.

Is the Wellness Consultation included?

Yes. Once your results are ready, you can book a consultation when its convenient for you in the MyHealth portal. There is no additional charge or obligation to buy anything afterward.
